GALACTICA PALACE / ギャラクティカ宮殿
Galactica Palace was Sailor Galaxia's castle in the manga, first appearing in Act 57. It was the stronghold of her empire, Shadow Galactica, and was situated in Sagittarius Zero Star. The castle was adorned with a huge Garden Crystal on top, which contained all the Sailor Crystals that Sailor Galaxia acquired. In front of the palace was the Star Garden, a garden adorned by copies of the Garden Crystal. Sailor Galaxia had the power to make the castle appear and disappear at will.
GALAXY CAULDRON / ギャラクシー大釜
The Galaxy Cauldron was the birthplace of all stars and all living things in the galaxy. It was first mentioned in Act 47 of the manga, and was stated to be at the center of the Milky Way galaxy, in Sagittarius Zero Star. It is the most powerful star in the universe. Everything is created and destroyed within the Galaxy Cauldron - life is created there, born as tiny stars that eventually grow into planets and the guardians who protect those planets, the Sailor Soldiers. Sailor Soldiers who die can be reborn there, or they can choose to stay in their purest forms. Galaxia said that it is "the holy land of the stars, The Galaxy Cauldron. Strong stars and weak stars. Trash and Sailor Soldiers. This is the place where all the stars throughout the galaxy are born." The Galaxy Cauldron looks like a bubbling stream of energy just below a cliff. It is onlyseen in the manga, never in the anime.

In the final manga arc, the Cauldron was taken over by Chaos, the purest form of evil, and Sailor Moon was faced with a choice: destroy Chaos and the Cauldron, thus ending all war but also all life, or preserving both, ensuring that life would go on but that war would as well. Chibi Chibi tried to convince Sailor Moon that destroying it to end all suffering was the right thing to do, but Sailor Moon told Chibi Chibi not to give up, to always have hope, and that living life was more important. Sailor Moon then threw herself into the Cauldron.

Guardian Cosmos, the small but powerful guardian of the Cosmos Crystal, resided within the Galaxy Cauldron. When she saw Usagi in the Cauldron, she was surprised that Usagi and her friends could retain their physical forms within the Cauldron. She asked Usagi if she had come to the Cauldron to throw her life into it and start a new star's history, or if she wanted to live as she was. Given the choice, Usagi said that she wanted to live her life as she was, no matter how difficult it might be, in order to build a future together. Guardian Cosmos granted their wish, and as they were being pulled away, Usagi asked about Chaos. Guardian Cosmos told them that Guardian Chaos and the Chaos Seed had been dissolved into the Cauldron, but could be born again.
KINMOKU
The planet Kinmoku is the homeworld of Sailor Star Fighter, Sailor Star Healer,Sailor Star Maker, and Princess Kakyu/Sailor Kakyu in the final arc of the manga and first anime. Not much is known about the planet, aside from the fact that it is situated somewhere in the galaxy, and that it was destroyed by Sailor Galaxia. At the time of the destruction, the injured Kakyuu fled, eventually landing on Earth, and in the care of Chibi Chibi. To find her, the Starlights disguised themselves as men.

Very little information is given about Kinmoku prior to its destruction by Galaxia in either the anime or manga. In the manga, Kakyuu was said to have been the princess of the Tankei (丹桂; meaning "orange osmanthus") Kingdom on Kinmoku, but it is unknown if this was a worldwide kingdom (similar to Elysion or the Silver Millennium) or one kingdom out of several. The original anime, on the other hand, seemed to imply that Kakyu is the princess of the entire planet. The anime also shows Kinmoku flanked by three small satellites, possibly the Starlights' home planets, or moons of Kinmoku that they represented.

MOON CASTLE
The Moon Castle was the home of the royal family during the Silver Millennium on the Moon. Inhabitants include Queen Serenity and Princess Serenity, as well as many other subjects. The Inner Senshi and the feline advisors, Luna and Artemis, also resided in this palace. It was guarded, along with the rest of the Solar system, from outside invaders by Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune, and Sailor Pluto, though those Senshi were not known by the vast majority of those of the Inner Kingdoms, including that of the Moon.

Well-known features of the palace include forbidden passages that led to the Space-Time Door, the Chamber of Prayer which housed the Crystal Tower at the centre of the Castle, and the Holy Blade. The castle also had a highly advanced computer system.
The Moon Castle was destroyed and left in ruins after the attack of the Dark Kingdom. However, in the manga, it was restored to its former glory by Sailor Moon's power after her final battle with Metalia.

In the live-action series, the Moon Castle was protected by a translucent dome of matter or energy surrounding it, that produced an artificial climate, signifying the advanced technology that existed during that period. In the Special Act, Queen Serenity sent the Legendary Sword from the palace down to Ear
NEMESIS
Nemesis (宿敵) was the tenth planet of the Solar System, and the base of the Black Moon Clan in Sailor Moon R. The planet itself was made of Evil Black Crystal, which was capable of absorbing light and energy, much like a black hole. This would cause the planet to appear and disappear from the sensors tracking it in Crystal Tokyo, making its orbit seem erratic and difficult to calculate. For a long time, the planet remained cloaked in darkness, but some time in the 30th Century it began to emit large amounts of negative energy, indicating its presence.

Soon after the creation of Crystal Tokyo, there was a challenge to the peace made by the Death Phantom. Because he was human, Neo-Queen Serenity did not want to kill him, so she banished him to the planet Nemesis and it became out of bounds. Many years later, there was another revolt on the Earth. After the battle, those who did not want to stay left Earth and ended up on Nemesis where they came under the influence of the Death Phantom. At some point in time, the Death Phantom lost his physical body and his will became one with the planet.
SILVER MILLENNIUM
The Silver Millennium was a peaceful time period during the prehistoric age when the Moon Kingdom existed in harmony, along with the rest of the planets of the Solar System. It provides a setting for the past lives and future selves of most of the series' major characters, and functions as a major driving force behind both plot and characterization.

The original Silver Millennium is portrayed as an ancient Golden Age, marked by peace, prosperity, and good relationships between the people of Earth and Moon. The English dub states that the Moon Kingdom existed one thousand years ago, but the original manga made it prehistoric. Despite its name, the Silver Millennium appears to have lasted much longer than a thousand years. The Moon Kingdom itself, ruled by Queen Serenity, centered in Mare Serenitatis (the Sea of Serenity) was also home to Princess Serenity and her four guardians, later to be known as the Guardian Senshi. It is slightly implied that the Outer Senshi were also guardians who had defended the Moon Kingdom from invaders from beyond the solar system. They had stayed in separate, hidden locations of the Moon Castle with their immensely strong talismans. According to the Sailor Moon R series, a second Silver Millennium will appear on Earth some time between the 20th and 30th centuries, this time centered in Crystal Tokyo.

The royal family of the Moon Kingdom during the Silver Millennium bear on their foreheads special markings shaped like small crescent moons. These appear on Queen Serenity, Princess/Neo-Queen Serenity, and Chibiusa Small Lady, as well as Sailor Venus when disguised as the princess and the moon cats - Luna, Artemis and Diana. In the anime, non-royal civilians of the Moon Kingdom lack the symbol on their foreheads.
SPACE TIME DOOR
The gateway to the Fourth Dimension, this door was guarded by Sailor Pluto and for a short time, Diana. It could be accessed from the Moon Palace or Crystal Palace depending on the era or by using a Key of Space-Time obtained or robbed from Sailor Pluto. The door was decorated with the phases of the moon in the anime. It first appeared in episode 82 when Sailor Pluto opened the Door to allow Sailor Moon, Tuxedo Mask, the Inner Senshi, and Chibiusa to pass through.
